On Friday, the 23rd of June 2017 at 05:59, and Indian rocket PSLV-XL carried the first Slovak satellite skCUBE to orbit.
Before seven o'clock the first beacon signals of the satellite were picked up and data communication was established on the next flyby. The initial part of the mission is successful.
Three years ago, our company was given the opportunity to participate in this amazing project. We developed and manufactured the satellite's power system (solar power plant, battery charging and power supply).
We congratulate the entire team of the SOSA association, who have volunteered their time and finances for the success of the project for eight years.
